Headliner Bio - SHYLAH RAY
Shylah Ray Sunshine is a First Nations singer, songwriter, activist, and professional vocal coach from Canada. Inspired by artists such Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, and Fela Kuti — her music centers Indigenous representation, feminine empowerment, and the belief that a song can change someone. Her sound blends Neo-Soul, R&B, Blues, New Age Jazz, and Gospel — raw, grounded, and built on over 15 years of independent artistry.
Self-taught on vocals, piano, and percussion, she came up through the Los Angeles music scene and has shared stages with artists such as Julian Marley, Lauren Jauregui, Saul Williams, Anwar Hadid, 6lack, and the legendary Roger Waters. Her debut single "Existence" earned a Hollywood Music in Media Award nomination for Best Song with Message/Social Impact and has been featured in documentaries and campaigns. Her hit "Into the Wild" has surpassed 6.5 million streams worldwide and has been featured in international film, TV, and media.
Winner of Best R&B Vocal Performance (World Entertainment Awards) and Best Female Vocalist of the Year (Hollywood Independent Music Awards), she has also been featured in Rolling Stone UK, NPR Tiny Desk Contest, SAY Magazine, DoubleBlind, Deitra Magazine, and Voyage LA.
Shylah offers music in sweat lodges, plant medicine ceremonies and honors ancestral language. She performs at political events and social justice gatherings — for her, song has always been prayer and prayer has always been a catalyst for change.
Currently headlining festivals across the US and releasing collaborative work throughout the year, Shylah's newest single ‘Bring Them Home’ speaks directly to the families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.

Performer Bio - Nate Carter
Nate Carter makes music for the moment a room goes quiet and starts to listen. An Asheville-based singer-songwriter and live-looping vocalist, he blends indie folk, medicine music and devotional rhythm into songs that feel both intimate and expansive, often compared to Trevor Hall, Sam Garrett and Vance Joy. His path to music ran through South America. After years living in the jungles and mountains there, sitting in ceremony and learning from ancestral song traditions, Nate came home with a calling and a message: healing doesn't come from somewhere outside us. We are the medicine. That message became the title and the heart of his album, We Are The Medicine. On stage, Nate builds each song from the ground up, layering his voice, harmonies, guitar, and more until a single voice becomes a full choir. His sets move between storytelling, soaring vocal runs and moment-led improvisation, so no two performances are the same. He also leads sound journeys that weave together live vocals, healing instruments and breathwork. More than 180,000 people follow his message across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook (@NateCarterMedia). Rooted in Asheville's intentional-living and sacred-gathering communities, Nate is one of the city's most compelling emerging voices in conscious music.

As resident DJ and co-creator of New Earth Nights, a monthly Gainesville gathering bringing together devotional hip-hop, DJs, dance music and conscious community, SOLMIRA is helping create a space for people who share a love of music, movement, authentic connection and conscious culture.
